IMMEDIATE VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
CLUBS BOOSTER COMMISSIONER CHAIR:
Responsible for coordinating information exchange and membership recruitment between club sponsors and parent representatives. This role is accomplished primarily through email, and is ideal for a person needing a flexible schedule who still wants to be a big help to the Boosters! DUATION DVDs:
Responsible for graduation pics/DVD fund raiser. Working with the photography club, prepare graduation picture mailings for senior class (matching names/faces and stuffing envelopes with picture and DVD order information) and fulfill orders for DVDs; work with new senior class leadership and senior class teachers to coordinate labor to stuff envelopes.Please contact Lumpoange Thomas for more information.
Continuing Event/Volunteer Opportunities
The WJ Booster Club is a fun, exciting, energetic, supportive and enjoyable way to spend YOUR time in high school – while your student enjoys his/her time. Your student need not be involved with any of the activities you assist with, unless he/she chooses to do so. The Booster Club is open to ANY student and ANY adult who wishes to be a part of a spirit-filled community, providing support for the larger WJ community.
School Store:
TBA – all year long. Volunteers are needed to operate the store at WJ throughout the school year and at special events. Email: onsiteschoolstore@wjboosterclub.com
Concessions:
TBA – all year long at various events. Concessions sell food and drink at sporting events throughout the year. MANY VOLUNTEERS are needed; student groups can earn additional funds for their activity. Email: concessions@wjboosterclub.com
Sports Commissioners & Club Commissioners:

Used Book Sale:
Typically the second Saturday & Sunday in March. Many students and parent volunteers needed to sort books, set up for the book sale and volunteer at the book sale. Email: wjusedbooksale@gmail.com
Mulch Sale:
A Saturday in April. Many student and parent volunteers are needed to deliver mulch on that Saturday. Email: mulchsale@wjboosterclub.com
Membership Liaison:
We need liaisons from the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, as well as North Bethesda and Tilden Middle Schools to coordinate our membership drive and support our membership efforts. Email: membership@wjboosterclub.com
PTSA/Booster Liaision:
Parent volunteer attends both PTSA and Booster Club Meetings each month and reports at each meeting. Email: ptsaboosterliaison@wjboosterclub.com
